OptaPro to provide data to FIGC for the first Hackathon in Italian football

OptaPro have partnered with the Italian Football Federation to help deliver Italy’s first Hackathon event in Trento from the 14th to the 15th October.

There have been over 450 applicants to the event with 150 of the best analytic minds in football attending to find deeper, insightful trends in Italian football data.

Opta will be providing detailed f24 level data from historic World Cups which will be integrated into SAP’s technological platform.

The event itself will be attended by members of football’s major organisations including FIFA, UEFA and football associations from around Europe. The event will also host a number of talks with some of the leading figures in the football data industry.
