How frequently is the Opta Live Monitor updated during a game?

Opta sends an update of data on every shot event and also every stop in play; goal, foul, ball out of play. This averages out at an update every 40 seconds across the match.

How frequently can I recieve an updated SportsCode file during the match?

Opta sends an update of data on every shot event and also every stop in play; goal, foul, ball out of play. This averages out at an update every 40 seconds across the match.

How do I view data from a specific match or across a range of season in the Query Tool?

When selecting season in the "Rankings" section the season drop down as a "All Seasons" option which when selected will provide an option to define a start and end date. You can use this to select a specific match or to see data combined across several seasons. Also in the rankings section there are tick boxes at the foot of the interface to display opposition and exact fixture which will also break the data down into a per game display. Secondly on the "Data Output" section you can simply select date range from the visible option on the interface.

Data Scout is showing me incorrect menus?

If the menu's in Data Scout appear to have changed or are incorrect most likely your browser has cached data which has now changed and has caused a conflict. Simply right click on the Data Scout page, click Silverlight, select the Data Scout URL from the list under Application Storage and select delete. Then reload the page, this will reset all data and menus in the application.
