TruMedia Networks are a global pioneer in sports analytics, with extensive experience of providing solutions across football and major US sports. In 2017 TruMedia teamed up with OptaPro to launch ProVision, an innovative analytical tool that features filterable Opta data to inform decision-making across performance analysis and recruitment.
ChyronHego has been a long-term partner of Opta for almost a decade, with a strong connection both technically and commercially, as well as a broad shared client list spanning both the professional club/league market as well as broadcast media. There are multiple bi-directional integration points between ChyronHego and Opta, across our mutual data-centric, video-centric and live graphics products.
21st Club have integrated Opta football data into their Evolution platform. Evolution is a strategic planning and management tool, which allows clubs to prepare intelligently for the future by reviewing various financial and performance aspects of the current squad and making provisions for succession planning. The availability of Opta data alongside information held on registered players and key transfer targets provides crucial objective performance context to support key decision making.
Opta data from rugby and football is available for teams to import into Hudl’s SportsCode Pro and Replay tools, enabling analysts to review over 2000 in-game events live via each platform’s timeline. With the key events covered, this allows users to focus on their subjective game analysis.
Now acquired by XOS Digital, Opta began working with Stratbridge in 2008. Based in Boston, USA they have cemented themselves as the preferred scouting partner of over 20 NBA and NFL teams. Opta performance data can now be analysed with the very same tools via their customisable, dynamic interface.
Xeatre provide a video streaming and editing platform for over 60 leagues worldwide. All of this video is linked directly to individual player records within the Scout7 database. Both companies teamed up with Opta in 2008 to index that video content with Opta data allowing for fast and effective video searching on anything from goals to possession regains.
Mediapro provide MediaCoach in association with the LFP to all 42 Spanish La Liga and Segunda teams. The MediaCoach system allows teams to search panoramic video via Opta events and provides detailed match statistics using Opta's unrivalled ball event database.
The Sports Office have been working with Opta since 2007. All rugby union and league customers can access Opta data via this centralised data hub. Recently Opta have also integrated their football widgets with The Sports Office to allow their football clients to also access to Opta data alongside sports science, medical, scouting, training and performance data.
Red Bee and Opta have been collaborating since 2010. The Piero system allows TV broadcasters, such as the BBC, to present Opta x/y event data using Red Bee's innovative technology. Now with professional sports teams using the Piero system for internal presentations Opta can again provide an additional layer of insightful objective data to the system.
CIES and Raffaele Poli have been in partnership since 2009. Their yearly Demographic Study and Annual Review are among the most detailed studies of player transfers and squad composition available. Opta provide detailed statistics to complement the report and power their top five key performance indicators.
Nacsport’s Opta import feature makes it quicker and easier for coaches to carry out successful performance analysis workflows as they will have readily analysed data and videos to use with Nacsport’s extensive video analysis and review tools.
Opta data can be integrated into the AP Viewer app, to empower the performance analysis industry and increase productivity in the field of video analysis.
Dectech Sports use Opta data in its mathematical models designed for extensive football analysis. The Dectech football group also has extensive experience working with Opta data on behalf of a Premier League client, as well as providing strategy consulting to the Premier League, and player rankings in the MLS. They also provide the analysis for The Times newspaper’s longest running sports column, The Fink Tank.
Siepe Sports specialise in helping clubs reduce their financial exposure that is dependent on match results. A partner of OptaPro since launching, Siepe have developed particular expertise in controlling liabilities emerging from performance-related, contractual bonuses.
